Promoting the Educated and Informed use of Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy to Address our Mental Health Crisis

PATA-YouTube.png

At the Psilocybin Assisted Therapy Association (PATA), our mission is to provide educational resources to empower seekers, licensed mental health professionals, and guides and facilitators to make their own informed decision about their involvement in using psilocybin-assisted therapy (PAT) to address mental health.

Educational resources and collaboration focused community building for seekers and professionals.

We believe that informed decision-making and access to accurate information are essential for those looking for healing and healers considering participating in this therapeutic approach. Particularly for the underrepresented, underserved, and underinformed.

With utmost respect and sensitivity, we approach all our programming by considering historical and cultural contexts. Through psilocybin therapy, also known as mushroom therapy, we aim to promote mental health and well-being while honoring the experiences and traditions of affected communities. Join us in fostering understanding and harnessing the transformative power of psilocybin-assisted therapy for a better future.

Collaborence 2025 is Coming!

Join us for Collaborence 2025—a groundbreaking multi-state conference uniting professionals and communities to advance education and collaboration in psilocybin-assisted therapy.

Hosted by PATA, this two-day hybrid event (October 4–5) offers tailored experiences:

Day 1 provides evidence-based training for clinicians and facilitators (online), while Day 2 brings communities together through in-person gatherings, vendor expos, and state-specific programming across Oregon, Colorado, and beyond. With panels, networking, and a live multi-state broadcast, Collaborence empowers attendees to explore psilocybin’s role in mental health, ethical practice, and grassroots innovation.

Addressing the Global Mental Health Crisis

The Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy Association (PATA) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Oregon. Our primary objective is to advance the field of psilocybin-assisted therapy (PAT), a therapeutic approach that utilizes the potential of psychedelics.

We are dedicated to providing education and support to the general public (seekers), licensed mental health professionals (LMHP), and other professionals in the psychedelic community.

We work to amplify voices and perspectives from marginalized and under-recognized groups, striving for equitable access to the healing potential of psilocybin-assisted therapy.

Mental health is a significant aspect of our well-being. Whether your aspirations involve personal growth, overcoming anxiety, depression, or PTSD, supporting substance abuse recovery or smoking cessation, addressing concerns related to death and dying, or dealing with disordered eating, our primary objective is to empower you to make informed decisions that align with your needs.

We believe that the transformative power of psilocybin is best realized for seekers addressing mental health concerns when sessions are guided by psychedelic professionals and integrated with the expertise of licensed mental health professionals. Our conviction lies in the collaborative effort to provide a comprehensive and effective approach to healing and well-being. However, not everyone may have access to paid professionals or may hesitations. Therefore, we provide options to empower seekers to make their own informed decisions about how they wish proceed.
